About “Strider in Diversity kennel”
We are the team of like-minded people united by our love for the American Staffordshire Terrier.
Why Strider?
“Strider in Diversity” means “Walking in Diversity”. In breeding we go our own way: among a huge variety of lines and types, we select the best - rough diamonds, in the hope of giving them a cut and making them perfect. We are confidently laying the right foundation by choosing producers from the oldest legendary lineages of European and American kennels. These dogs combine the inherent athleticism, excellent temperament and intelligence of the Staffordshire Terriers. Besides, these qualities are prescribed in the Breed Standard (AKC, FCI). We strive to get magnificent dogs, which will be called legends.
Kennel’s producers
We have collected a constellation of producers, the most valuable genetic material. These dogs are imported from the oldest kennels in the world: Sindelar (USA), Tipit z Hanky (Czech Republic), Cans Juansa (Spain).Our dogs carry the blood of real American dogs - “the ones” that are now considered to be the breed standard and legendary dogs.
We are very selective with the dogs we breed, using only the best bloodlines from around the world. Our aim is to continue the tradition of breeding American dogs based on the old lines such as Ruffian, Ex-Perth, Crusader, Tacoma, Gallant and Roll, and bring these lines to a wide range of interested people and fans of the breed.
Breeding
We plan each combination carefully and beforehand. It allows us to be confident in the breed qualities of our future puppies. All our producers have genetic health tests and are carefully selected for further breeding combinations. This selectivity allows us to produce healthy and beautiful dogs with excellent intelligence, strong psyche and breed temperament, fully complying with the Breed Standard.
Our values
For us, the harmony of living together between humans and dogs is very important. We carefully prepare our puppies. They grow up in love on a large territory of the kennel, surrounded by our children. A special development program for puppies has been formulated and implemented. Every week the puppies get a new incentive for the advancement of their psyche. And leaving for their new families, our babies have the basics of obedience and socialization.
Our team
The owner of the kennel and its head, Oleksii Lazko, is a breeder-cynologist. He has united around himself professionals and connoisseurs of the breed in order to embody the three greatest values of the Amstaffs in our puppies: anatomy, temperament and intelligence.
The first American Staffordshire Terrier dog appeared in Alexey's family in 1997. It was love at first sight and this love lasts for over 20 years! Over the years, Aleksey has become a passionate researcher of the breed’s history, the pedigrees of legendary dogs and the genetics of the American Staffordshire Terriers.
