America's Greatest Bull and Terrier
The American Staffordshire Terrier is one of the oldest terrier breeds. This breed originated in the early 1800s as a cross between a Bulldog of the time and a Playing Terrier. In 1936, this breed was recognized by the AKC and an official standard was adopted. Since that time, the development of the American Staffordshire Terrier has been carried out in accordance with this breed standard.
The American Staffordshire Terrier comes in all colors: brindle, spotted, solid, or any combination of these. Many dogs have a bright white chest and collar. It is easy to find the color you like in this breed. These are bright dogs, whose beauty and strength immediately arouse the admiration of others. One look at their muscles is enough to understand that these dogs have unusual strength for their size.
The versatility and temperament of the American Staffordshire Terrier is unsurpassed. They can play sports, they can hunt, they can just walk, they lend themselves well to training. They make excellent family guard or guard dogs. They live well in a private house and a small apartment. Moreover, since they have never been a pampered breed, but have always been "close to nature", they have an exceptionally strong physique. They seem to be almost immune to all common canine diseases.
One of the most revered qualities of this breed is unshakable loyalty to the owners and household members. American Staffordshire Terriers crave the attention of their owner and do not look for a better place than next to him. They love attention and return it fourfold.
While their determination and determination never wavers, American Staffordshire Terriers are unmatched as a child's friend and guardian. In this regard, they are incredibly tolerant and reliable. They are large and strong enough that a child cannot harm them, and they like to participate in children's entertainment. They absorb with pleasure the overflowing childish cheerfulness and endure childish irascibility. They have an indomitable spirit and generous forgiveness.
No other breed has such a perfect combination of softness, camaraderie and reliability.
